More Birthdays and End of Kindergarten

20130622-072055.jpg
We celebrated Nana’s Birthday in early June

20130622-072226.jpg
We all met for a lunch date in Pigeon Forge. We also celebrated Amy and Stephanie’s Birthdays as well.

20130622-072646.jpg
We were happy to eat pizza and help celebrate the people we love!

20130622-073103.jpg
For Jackson’s end of Kindergarten year celebration, he chose to eat and play at Chuck E Cheese. I have to make a note that this was the first time Jackson agreed to stand beside of this big mouse and have his picture taken!

20130628-071453.jpg
We are proud of his accomplishments this year! On most days he proved to be an eager student working hard to learn and complete everything I expected and demanded from him. I am most happy that he not only became a really good reader, he developed a true love for books…a skill that will entertain as well as educate him a for a lifetime.

20130628-223150.jpg
After our mini celebration, we were blessed with another special rainbow. One of Jackson’s favorite things to see on the side of the interstate are these big construction trucks! The rainbow arching over them was amazing. It lasted forever on our drive as we were leaving Knoxville.

20130630-082258.jpg

20130630-082550.jpg
A double rainbow that we literally drove under. WOW!

20130630-082836.jpg
Finally to Jackson, even though you may feel our constant push to excellence, we are hoping you discover the feel of your own successes, so you may reach for any path that leads you to happiness.

May’s Day’s of Fun 2013

20130612-161542.jpg
This photo was taken on Mother’s Day morning, two days after returning from our overnight stay celebrating Jackson’s Birthday. Isabela is holding “Puppy” her favorite friend. Isabela’s mommy accidentally left Puppy behind in the covers of our room. We realized this when we put her down to bed and she kept begging for him. Housekeeping recovered our treasure and we of course went back up the mountain to retrieve it! She was so excited to be reunited! So sweet!

20130612-162133.jpg
Love capturing these action shots.
I really enjoy watching this girl kick a ball! Either soccer or football, she gives it her all!

20130613-215921.jpg
For my birthday we played at the World’s Fair Park and visited Market Square.
They love watching the water. I love watching them watch and learn about the life around them.

20130613-220513.jpg
Fuzzy picture but I’m happy to capture moments of play especially when big brother is being so great to give both of his sisters a ride.

20130613-220827.jpg

20130613-221112.jpg

20130613-221305.jpg
One of my favorites. I hope you girls are always this sweet, always this close and loving!

20130613-221719.jpg
We even talked Aunt Fran into helping us plant the corn. Check out the wild boys in the background. Also, that’s our onions and potatoes we helped plant several weeks ago!

20130613-222257.jpg
Abigail riding her pretend horse Lightning.

20130615-073528.jpg
Again we have been skipping between the heat or rain for working in the vines.

20130615-081005.jpg
Spring rains and sun are growing our vines beautifully. We are busy suckering, removing the growth at the base of the plants. All three have proven to be very efficient at this task!

20130615-081320.jpg
Jackson started competing with Abigail trying to log more work time. More work time equals more money πŸ™‚

20130615-081520.jpg
I always smile each time these beautiful blue innocent eyes gaze at me! I love to see and hear her enthusiasm. She was over the moon with excitement when she discovered the “baby grapes” growing!

20130615-082015.jpg
Jackson lost his second tooth! The tooth fairy left him two dollars!

20130616-073209.jpg
We went to Jayden’s dance recital. Her daddy joined her on stage for one of her three dances.

20130618-070856.jpg
Happy my brother was able to have this special moment with Jayden. That’s both of Jayden’s Papaw’s in the background.

20130618-071631.jpg
We went to cheer on Elijah at a few of his games. That’s him, number 15, leading off of first base. The adult to the far right, face hidden by the pole, is Elijah’s daddy Mikey being the third base coach.

20130618-072132.jpg
This little guy is always willing to play a little silly

20130619-071121.jpg
Finally Jackson mastered the difference between words spelled “ite” and “ight”

20130619-071540.jpg
We harvested onions, asparagus, and of course yummy strawberries.

20130619-072036.jpg
This Little Tikes truck has given a fair share of rides. Abigail and Isabela were so funny, both of them squeezing in the front to drive!

20130619-072633.jpg
Abigail came to me and asked if she could pretend to be a mommy. She was playing dress up in one of my original baton outfits.

20130619-073007.jpg
Writing ABC’s is always more fun outdoors with chalk.

20130619-073305.jpg
“I color “

20130619-161313.jpg
They really enjoy climbing the wall. I remember their first steps along this wall and us spotting them from behind. Building their courage and confidence, they now can fly solo.

20130619-221028.jpg
My sweet birds of three, I love you so!

Junior Ranger and More Birthday Fun

One of Jackson’s goals for his Kindergarten year was to complete the Junior Ranger Program in the Great Smoky Mountains. We completed eleven activities in a workbook, picked up litter, watched a video, went on a guided trail walk, and visited the museum to write three facts he had learned.

20130606-215658.jpg
For the final portion he had to interview a real Park Ranger, answer questions about the process, raise his hand and recite the Junior Ranger Pledge for the Park Ranger. I was a proud mother watching her shy little man speak so confident and clear in spite of the noise and commotion being made by the many onlookers.

20130607-162719.jpg

20130607-163108.jpg
Happy to be showing off his new official badge and certificate outside the National Park Sugarlands Visitor Center.

20130607-163533.jpg
One sister was very patient for this long process, one not so much…I won’t point fingers.

20130609-215731.jpg
A quick outdoor lunch, Daddy and Abigail

20130609-220334.jpg
A little extra bravery for the swinging bridge

20130609-220438.jpg
Shopping isn’t any fun without a little play

20130609-220659.jpg
Love this quiet photo, actually ready for a nap.

20130609-221459.jpg

20130609-221655.jpg
We snapped this photo from the safety of our vehicle!

Fun, fun, fun splashing in the pool!

20130610-065113.jpg
Isabela was really excited to be in water larger than the tub.

20130610-065930.jpg

20130610-070016.jpg

20130610-070117.jpg
Courage dear boy, have courage!

20130610-160704.jpg
Happy to have a fun day!

20130610-160844.jpg
Love those tiny fingers and toes!

20130610-161030.jpg
Check out his expression in the mirror. He actually picked up that dinosaur!

20130610-161248.jpg
Happy to have his daddy off from work spending the day with him.

20130610-161438.jpg
A few more of his birthday winnings

20130610-161717.jpg
Another chance to blow out a candle. Five spoons waiting to dig in.

20130610-162022.jpg
Happy sixth birthday to my first born! YOU ARE AMAZING!

Jackson’s First Celebration

20130523-222926.jpg
I have to say it…I can’t believe my baby boy is six!

20130529-215629.jpg
So happy that his sisters enjoy his special day.

20130529-215908.jpg

20130529-220100.jpg

20130529-220349.jpg
Many more trucks and tractors to add to his collection!

20130601-220322.jpg
They all took a try to blow the candles out.

20130601-220605.jpg
These two girls love our birthday boy!

20130601-221125.jpg
Papaw and Uncle Mikey

20130601-221438.jpg
He couldn’t wait to start building his new Lego set.

20130601-221930.jpg
Determination and a year of growth. The set he received on his fifth birthday he was unable to complete alone. He recognized the fact that now he was six, he was capable of doing a lot more!

20130601-222231.jpg
Way to go birthday boy!

20130601-222646.jpg
A double rainbow just for you Jackson Sawyer! Happy Birthday!

Our Spring Family Fun

To all of those amazing females that created and guided me, nurtured and inspired me…Happy Mother’s Day!
To my two sweet girls, if you choose the path to motherhood someday, may you always share the kind of love and tenderness that your Nana has daily offered us…always putting your family first, walking in life with a gentle heart, and being a blessing to all of those around you…a treasure worth celebrating every moment of everyday! Be AMAZING

20130426-213425.jpg
Together we had some fun playing with the camera on a warm and sunny evening.

20130426-213640.jpg
Sweet girl, excited to be dressed up, and of course carrying a puppy.

20130426-213852.jpg
Handsome boy that really wanted to go jump in the mud with his slick looking clothes.

20130426-214135.jpg
Isabela loved that her dress matched her big sisters.

20130426-214444.jpg

20130426-214537.jpg
In spite of the sometimes turmoil, these two are so close!

A fun change to be in the field without the “work” clothes

Wrapping up April

20130501-073453.jpg
This boy playing frisbee is about to loose his first tooth! It is barely hanging by one root!

20130502-071940.jpg
Papaw and Nana treated the WHOLE family to Dollywood tickets again this year! Jackson’s final sentence cracks me up! When I read it and reminded him he would be six on his birthday, he told me he knew, he still wouldn’t be ready for the real train until he was seven!

20130502-072939.jpg
500-401

20130502-073043.jpg
A couple Earth Day drawings by Jackson. A rainbow and Jackson and his two sisters enjoying the outdoors.

A picnic from the vehicle because of the heavy cool wind

20130502-073427.jpg

Sisters playing

20130502-214343.jpg

20130502-214518.jpg
Jackson loves that his mommy still remembers how to drive a tractor! Before you were born Mr. Jackson, this was my main mode of transportation in the summer. Your daddy really misses those days!

20130502-214917.jpg
“Hall, party of three” is what the nurse announced as she calls us from the waiting room. This is our assembly line, ALL THREE waiting to see Dr. Hollingsworth for our re-check appointment. I am hopeful we are on the road to recovery.

Cool Spring Morning

20130502-215906.jpg
Isabela was having an independent streak not wanting to take her sister’s hand. I truly enjoy even those moments.

20130502-220328.jpg
Aunt Teresa, we love the outfits!

20130502-220526.jpg
They humble me by holding hands.

20130502-220810.jpg
SWEET, thanks little birds for letting me capture you growing.

20130502-221115.jpg
I can not believe how much this child has grown this year…physically, mentally, and emotionally! I am a proud mommy!

20130502-221434.jpg
Miss Smiley, sweet and innocent…always melting my heart.

20130502-221827.jpg
Timing is everything with this girl. I have all the time for you baby girl!

Ready to plant some spring flowers.

Back in the Vines

20130408-220351.jpg
We were able to talk Nana into helping us pick up the cuttings between the rows!

20130408-220648.jpg
Abigail is so excited to see the butterfly’s flutter by and to pick the bright dandelions. Each time she see’s one, she shouts, “spring is here!”

Planting another stick garden.

20130419-074048.jpg
Even the baby helps out by picking up the cuttings. They learn so quickly!

20130419-074350.jpg

20130423-220616.jpg
The weather won’t make up its mind! Warm one afternoon, freezing the next!

20130423-220821.jpg
Jackson figured out he could get more cuttings picked up by raking them in a pile.

20130423-221109.jpg
We are happy to report that most of our pruning is complete. I am very blessed to have a great man that did most of it for us due to many circumstances beyond our control. I am more blessed to have wonderful children, that most of the time, happily help in the vines and play peacefully in the field together. I hope in the years to come they can look back at these photos, and have fond memories of quality time spent as a family completing a goal. Growing Love!

Easter Time

20130417-230528.jpg
We were so excited waiting on the Easter Bunny to leave us baskets full of goodies!

20130418-221239.jpg
Nice job Easter Bunny!

20130418-221511.jpg
Good morning Jackson!

20130418-221755.jpg
So much fun coming out of these baskets! Love this expression!

20130418-222032.jpg
My sweet girl holding her new lamb.

20130418-222401.jpg
Who could resist chocolate eggs from this sweet face? Love you little man!

20130418-222634.jpg
Thank you for this smile Abigail.

20130418-223007.jpg
Believe it or not, he loved his “dress up” clothes. He actually wanted a bow tie.

20130418-223239.jpg
Princess is what she wants to be.

20130418-223416.jpg
I had to include this photo because of the shoes, and because of Abigail’s look of disapproval! Isabela picked out a pair of her sister’s glittery red shoes (hand me down’s from Cousin Jaydie) and insisted on wearing them! I’ll not post the tantrum that followed when we tried to put the white ones on!

20130418-223751.jpg
Thanks to our photographer Abigail! Love you guys!

20130418-224042.jpg
We were able to have Papaw take a quick pic for us!

20130418-224252.jpg
Since we took him from work, we made him stop for a picture.

20130418-224432.jpg
Happy Easter from the cousin. Too much fun in another basket.

20130419-064349.jpg
Beautiful girl Jayden. The cool thing about her dress is that she has a matching one for her doll!

20130419-064529.jpg
Cousin Elijah has an almost matching outfit to Jackson. Having fun earlier in the day hunting eggs in the rain, he got muddy. Maybe we’ll get a photo of these two boys looking slick later.

Catching Up With Family 4/4/13

20130419-070257.jpg
We were excited to visit with Amanda, Amy, Synclair, and Saxton.

20130419-071153.jpg
Abigail and Isabela were so intrigued by sweet baby girl Synclair.

20130419-071415.jpg

20130419-071527.jpg
Synclair was mesmerized by the ceiling fan.

20130419-071847.jpg
Jackson and Elijah loved having another boy to play with! Love this picture of energy driven Jackson and Saxton pausing for a hug.!

Thanks for inviting us to a play date. We had an awesome visit catching up with very special cousins we rarely get to to see.
