Butterfly Tagging
We were lucky enough to join our friends from the TN Aquarium Butterfly Exhibit in Cade’s Cove for catching Monarchs.
We were each given these awesome nets and turned to the fields for chasing!
The fields meeting the sky were absolutely beautiful,
with the help from the expert, we identified if it were male or female, tagged it for migration tracking, and checked it for future parasite identification,
I think our family caught and tagged at least eleven!
