It really is the small things in her days which make her the happiest. She teaches me a lot about finding satisfaction in the little pieces of life.

She loves to watch the clouds, play in the rain, and say hello to every living thing she sees. Joy should have been her middle name!

My two “wild cards”

Finally she has her own helmet and is as quick as her little legs carry her.

Although a little slower on the inchworm, she is just satisfied when she’s moving

…or splashing in the cool water.

He is always the happiest when he seems to be the dirtiest!

He enjoys rigging up trailers and hauling things all over the yard.

He also loves pulling up the root vegetables to see how big they have become under the earth. Beets believe it or not are all of our favorites!

Gardening is hot and dirty work but Papaw loves for us to help…as long as we keep our feet off of the growing vegetables.

I love to see any of the three sitting quietly together.

A not so proud moment, but I was happy he was able to express his thoughts admitting how he was wrong.

They forgave him and went right back to herding their sheep.

Jackson has finally figured out how to inflate his lungs with air and transfer it to a balloon.

Baby sister of course has to try whatever the other two do.

Although she doesn’t have it, thankfully we get a smile!

My memory to this day…brutally cold!

I had listened to the request to go out all day. In spite of the heavy winds and freezing temperature we went out. It took twenty minutes to suit up for the elements…five minutes of play…ten minutes to undress the many layers! We were spent!

I Love seeing the white out conditions in the distance.

My favorite…big brother giving a ride to baby sissy, struggling in the snow and elements.

Quick snow angels before going in.

The next morning we were able to get out and play with sunny skies as a backdrop.

Isabela was happy to experience the slippery ride.

New nickname for his little man…daredevil!

There wasn’t as much wind today so we were able to stay a little longer.

Jayden, Elijah, and Uncle Mikey enjoyed the rides with us too

Isabela couldn’t get enough of the fun!

Her expression is so satisfied.

We stayed out much longer than the day before and really created some good memories.

Daddy and Isabela had the most fun I think…

Reflection in the water…great memories together!

This wagon has been a highlight of our family since Jackson’s first Christmas. We brought it with us rather than the double stroller. It was super sweet because Jackson pulled the girls some and some we pulled all three! Sadly we realized this would probably be the last year they all three fit side be side.

A beautiful sunrise wedding. Absolutely an amazing memory to witness from our balcony.

These were two of the signs on the beach for the 7:15 a.m. wedding.

If you look closely you can see white kites dancing in the sky. This photo was taken about an hour before sunset. The bride and groom that were married at sunrise earlier in the day were joined by all of their guest to fly white kites in the beautiful blue sky. They flew the kites until sunset. A sunrise to sunset wedding day! A very romantic fairy tale!

Terrain of all kind can be created in sand. In our Social Studies we learned the difference of the type of landforms. He made roads, hills, valleys, rivers, and even a mountain in the easy to form texture of the sand.

Most importantly we have to have our sleep.

What a day!

I stopped counting how many times they went to the water’s edge to fill up their buckets only to spill most of it on the walk back.

We loved playing in the pools of water left behind as the tide went out.

and this. Abigail really enjoyed the lazy river. She was excited that she could finally stand on her own and it not be over her head.

For the first time Jackson tried a hot tub…he loved it!

We were loving all of the pumpkins on this warm October afternoon.

The straw was really fun to play in. There were piles of it for jumping in and to use for stuffing a scarecrow.
