Halloween/Fall 2011, Isabela’s first dress up day of play!

The air is cooling and the leaves are falling. Throw in pumpkins and costumes and fall is a fun celebration, at least for us. We have had great fun watching them get in the pumpkins and struggle with pretending to be something else!

Turn around fuzzy lion Jackson!

Jackson with our dear Aunt Margaret, “Marnie” as he called her.

Abigail carried these two pumpkins everywhere

Despite the smile, this flower wasn’t too happy with her big petals.
Traveling with three made me felt like we packed forever. Jackson and Abigail were so excited to have new baby sissy join us. This was the first year our beach trip did not happen in June. We started a new tradition in traveling after our harvest!

All three DID sleep in the tent right there on the ocean. It was so sweet!
The one place Stevie and I have always escaped to is the coast. Annually celebrating the calendar’s official start of summer as well as our June 24th wedding anniversary we have always taken this very important excursion. These three babies haven’t changed our feelings of the sand and surf. The last baby did however change our travel dates as she was born on the first day of summer.
I am taking a trip down memory lane to Jackson’s, Abigail’s, first beach memories before posting Isabela’s new experiences.

A year of growth and back to the beach!

Jackson loved walking across the flat sand! Hard to believe his sister Abigail will join him in a few months, June 2008

Always smiling, Abigail loved the beach! June 2009

I loved these two sitting together in the shade of the canopy.

Happy just being. Tooth showing, days away from crawling.

Happy to add her name to the sand!

This was a very quick visit to the coast but great memories were made.
The best place to be on a hot summer harvest day is relaxing in a stroller!

At nine weeks old, this is Isabela’s first harvest. She enjoyed the fast pace of us picking.

Always present, Nana and Papaw!

Jaydie and Elijah stopped by for a visit.

How excited he gets to almost hold her.

Sweet smile, blue Gatorade lips.

Finished the harvest of 2011, and we delivered our grapes on a rainy Sunday morning.
Our annual day of harvest has been a huge part of our year since our first in 2003. Many things to coordinate and juggle without little ones, add the little ones, wow what an experience! We have always included them in this part of our work
Since the vineyard is pretty much the center of our life, I am looking back to their first harvest moments.

August 2007, Jackson’s first harvest

They love carrying these buckets…empty!

Twenty years total from the time we began dating at age fifteen.
By the time the third baby Isabela was born we have been together over twenty five years. Great history, better memories of a fulfilled life!
High School Sweethearts, we’ve been together since we were fifteen. We dated for nine years before we married on June 24, 2005. Eloping, we only brought our cousins Amy and Amanda to witness this great event!
Looking back we recognized we had played together in our very early years. We on a few occasions were both at a beauty shop with my mamaw and his baby sitter at the same time.

Neat feeling when we recognized this many, many years later.

We could never tire of the sand, the coast, or this sunset! Great memories before babies.

I’ve always felt blessed to have my best friend in the world by my side. We have so many great memories. We are lucky to still be IN love after all of these years.
