Can she really be SIX?

Sweet Friends joining us
A birthday before the storm
Had to include Amy’s photo of the Doppler just for a reminder of how hard the wind and rain destroyed our fun!
Happy Birthday!
Baby Girl of ours, no matter the age!

10 already
Double digits make me feel a bit sad for time passing so quickly
a menu of Mexican and a cookie cake
lots of Star Wars in this boys hands
and ladybugs for the girls
a new kind of toy from a special friend
a Smokie’s game with people we love

what better way to celebrate a Sunday afternoon and a birthday!
Of course, Jackson’s birthday and Mother’s Day overlap…see how much I am BLESSED

Happy Birthday to my first born, the first to make me a “mommy”
My 9/10 year old across the plate again
He so enjoys the game.
Can’t believe it, but the runner was called safe!
Spring baseball is a long season for us, but at the same time, seems to pass too quickly!

He was hit in the head at bat by a ball, he was ok, but the umpire stopped the game to do a check…
These two smiley girls attended EVERY practice and EVERY game!
Thanks to this friends mother, Tina, for ALL of these amazing pictures she took and shared all season.

He does love his coach
Waiting on fall ball now…
Filling the soil of the Earth again with seeds is one of the most special activities for us in the spring
Smiley girls…
Spring in the vineyard, our largest garden..
soil full of onion bulbs
there isn’t anything that makes papaw as happy as having this many hands to help out
the start of our sunflowers
flowers of the sun…

I could gaze at the individuality of each of these flowers all day!
Gerber Daisy
okra blooms
cucumber
beans
the ones the wildlife didn’t take, strawberries and blueberrries!
peppers
a pretty yellow bloom on our newest addition to the garden, peanuts
Summer heat rewards us with many good things.
I am always so thankful to place this experience under their feet.
straight rows of onions, beets, and other raw veggies!
greatly thankful for this man too…”And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it.” Genesis 2:15
Bless this girl and all of mine…
My heart is completely blessed and in love!
My mind is blown away each time I think about how time flies away right in front of my eyes
After church it was the perfect day for snapping a few family photos for capturing this memory.

They clean up nicely…
Easter 2017!
5 Grandbabies clean up nicely
Aunt Kathy was able to see them all for her 1st Easter with us
And thankfully Aunt Fran came to Nana’s for the Easter meal and egg hunt.
my sweet three birds

Color us happy
Let all that you do be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
These tulips announce spring long before the calendar
My girls glow with goodness
I love…
I love these three birds
Sweet man to scoop us away for the day
Miss Smiley
A lovely afternoon.
We want one of these!
Maybe a couple of these..

Flowers we could have. Absolutely beautiful!
Happy girl with her daddy, especially when he carries her around.
Her shirt says it all
“Ratoonie” out for another adventure.
Sweet and innocent smile
playing on the open field with regular things is fun for their hands
I have taken this picture before a few years ago, my how they have grown!
our first manicure
the colors they chose were super fun
I know, a silly selfie, just marking our “girl’s day”
Spring flowers that color our world is the perfect gift to the earth
All of my loves bundled up warm.
Out in the air on one of our Smoky Mountain trails with the one we love.
(in case you are wondering about the backpack not suitable for trails…puppy and bunny are hitching a ride)
My super sweet little birds!
this little guy with a knife and a stick is at home in the quiet woods
the path less traveled is always the most creative and fun

It was hard to believe we were finding these early spring flowers beneath the trees in February. Also, the ground around this purple flower reveals the scorched earth from the forest fires.
Amazing to see the survival everywhere.
My one constant Valentine
Happy Valentine’s Day All Year Long!❤
We just can’t get enough snow to be completely satisfied!
Here one day and melting the next
Anything in between is full of precious memories.
Slipping and sliding, and pausing for a photo.
Fun time for the wild boys.

Regardless of the wind, our fun seems more fun.

That for sure looks like a wipe out!
I hope these little people realize how lucky they are to have Nana a part of their daily lives.
Always game to have fun and celebrate her days.

My heart is full

Blessed!
January 1, 2017, Isabela’s first lost tooth!
My two sweetest birds
Resolutions to smile a little more

Foxy Kitty stopping by for a snack
She is Abigail’s favorite visitor.
Relaxed to say the least

I sometimes have to pinch myself at the beauty the Lord blesses our eyes with.

The fresh outdoors is our favorite treat

No schedule to keep except that of family time.

The fun way to check the boots for leaks!
Home sweet home!
Foxy Kitty lounging in a crate
A visit for the girls by Great Aunt Kathy at Papaw and Nana’s

We are happily enjoying the new year one new experience at a time!

Amy Jo too
Aunt Kathy has even been joining our celebrations.

Their ballet dance recital melted my heart
They are the two in the very center, Abigail in the front and Isabela behind her.
So blessed to have Nana and Papaw join us.
